Today, at VIOTYR we share the love of the founder Dim. Thomopoulos for cheeses, his faith in people and his partners and his vision for the future. The new generation of the family, which is already at the helm of the company, leads it with confidence and optimism.

The company's journey began in November 1976 when Dimitris Thomopoulos established TYRINTHOS in Athens.

1976

The company TYRINTHOS is renamed to VIOTYR LTD

1986

Start of operations of VIOTYR as a LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (VIOTYR SA)

1997

In 2004 VIOTYR moves and settles in new, modern privately owned facilities of 3,000 sq.m. in the area of ​​Koropi

2004

In 2013, the company acquired and integrated a modern cheese standardization packaging plant into its operations. In the same year, it also established the product distribution company DIATYP S.A.

2013

By investing in PELOPONNESE DAIRY PRODUCTS TRIPOLI, VIOTYR is making a strong entry into the production of cheese and dairy products.

2016

The TRIPOLI brand is being established and making a dynamic entry into retail through the largest chains nationwide

1997

Tripoli brine cheeses are introduced to consumers through the Greek retail sector.
